Silvio Raggini

S. Raggini is Head of the Quality Center of the Coop Group since 2009 and responsible for Quality and Crisis management. After finishing his studies in Molecular Biology/Microbiology at the University of Basel (Biocentre) and the postgraduate study in Human Nutrition at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Zurich, Switzerland) in 1991 he worked 4 years for the cantonal authority in Basel as head of the pesticide residue group. In 1995 he finished the advanced studies in Food safety. In 1996 he joined the Coop Group as Head of the trace analysis group in the Central Laboratory in Pratteln, Switzerland. 1999 he became Head of the Central Laboratory of Coop.
